Human Kind

A Hopeful History

By Ruger Bregman

A book with the revolutionary idea that humans - contrary to what we’ve been told and lead to believe are actually inherently good. Backed up with some remarkably compelling evidence, this book blew my mind. When we think of thes huge events that shaped history that should have brought out the very worst in people, in fact did quite the opposite. But the powers that be actively chose to either ignore or suppress the data. Going so far to refuse to accept the official reports. This book asks that if humans are inherently good and if we can actually allow ourselves to believe it then it changes everything. It changes every interaction with a stranger, it brings hope back, it connects, it reawakens the humanity in us. If you read this then be prepared to have your mind changed, and it’s worth it.

So what is the radical idea? That most people, deep down, are pretty decent.
